Changshoushan Scenic Area (Mountain of Longevity)
长寿山景区
About
Changshoushan (Mountain of Longevity) is a mountain scenic area in Shanhaiguan District, Qinhuangdao, Hebei, about 9 km northeast of the Shanhaiguan old town, backed by the Great Wall. Rated a national 4A attraction, it is themed around China's "longevity" (shou) culture. Its best-known feature is Xuanyang Cave, said to be northern China's largest natural granite cave, with chambers nested within chambers. The site also holds a "forest" of stone tablets carved with the character for longevity by historical calligraphers, a grotto with sculptures honoring famous physicians, and scattered cliff inscriptions. Suited to family visits, older travelers, hikers and photographers; the trails involve many steps.

Tickets Reference price starts around ¥30 (check the price posted on site on the day). There's also a combo ticket covering Old Dragon's Head and the Shanhaiguan Old Town experience for ¥120; we couldn't find a complete price for a combo including Mengjiangnu Temple. Ctrip, Bendibao, and similar platforms list a reference price of ¥30, and there are several cross-attraction combo packages (e.g., with Old Dragon's Head and First Pass Under Heaven). We found no clear source on discounts for children, seniors, or students, or on whether advance booking is required — call the site to confirm before you go.
Hours May 1-December 31, 07:30-17:30 (ticket sales and entry stop at 17:00). Sources are inconsistent about winter (January-April) opening, and an older claim of year-round 08:00-17:00 hours conflicts with this, so call ahead to confirm.
