Qinhuangdao Wildlife Zoo
秦皇岛野生动物园
About
Qinhuangdao Wildlife Zoo, on Binhai Avenue in Beidaihe, is one of northern China's larger wildlife parks, covering roughly 5,000 mu. It is split into a drive-through predator zone, where visitors view tigers, lions, and bears from their cars, and a walk-through zone where guests can hand-feed giraffes, alpacas, and other gentle animals, plus a bird enclosure and herbivore areas. It's open year-round, with animals generally more active in the morning and in warmer months. The zoo is a popular half-day to full-day family outing in the Beidaihe area.
