Lianfeng Mountain Park
联峰山公园
About
Lianfeng Mountain Park, on Lianfeng Road in Beidaihe, is the highest point in the area at about 153 meters, covering roughly 6,068 mu of pine and cypress forest. It is often described as one of China's earliest forest parks. From the hilltop Wanghai Pavilion, visitors get a panoramic view of the Beidaihe coastline. The dense tree cover keeps the park about 5°C cooler than the beach below, making it a popular summer retreat. Other sights include Lotus Rock and Immortal's Cave, plus scattered historic villas. It suits hikers, photographers, and anyone escaping the summer heat, and is known for autumn foliage around October.
